FRAZIES- Facts about me

This blog is just me telling a little bit about myself and some facts about me. I'll try not to be to boring. Laugh Out Loud. Well first I am now eighteen years old, I turn nineteen in September this year and I got to Paris Cooperative High School. Which school is almost out, which is good for me so I can get a good summer job to help save up money a little quicker than a fast food job. I have been living on my own since I was seventeen years old, it’s been tough but also not so bad in the end though, I did a lot of moving around until a couple months ago I finally got my own apartment and it's a peaceful place to live. Also another good thing is that I live in town so if my car breaks down or anything I can always walk. My car is a 1996 Eclipse, it’s a pretty good car. I love to listen to music, especially rock because that's what I grew up with. Bands like Van Halen, AC/DC, Metallica, Rise Against, and so many other bands that it would take me all day to list all of them off to you. My hobbies I guess would be riding my bike, working on cars, playing xbox 360, and hanging out with friends and family. Trying to do good at school and pass all my classes so I can go to a good college. I think I want to go to college for something in the business department or something but I'm not to sure yet. I mean I have always been wanting to be a police officer since 8th grade but, that dream was crushed for me a long time ago. Because, well I have a heart condition and I wouldn't be able to do all the proper training like the running and getting tazered as part of training because of my heart and the metal inside me. But anyway life is pretty good right now and am looking forward to this summer. I know one fact, creative writing really was my favorite class I really like writing poems and stories but, there were a lot of times I didn’t have all the time in the world to do it. This class made me feel like I had a little more freedom with sharing my ideas at school because most classes students don’t have the chance to do that every day. I really like fixing up cars, I don’t want to make a career out of it though. My dream car to have is a nineteen sixty nine Chevy Chevelle. Now that car is an amazing vehicle but, on the other hand it is a little pricy.
It has a 427-V8 engine having enough horse to definately burn some rubber.  But anyway a little more to know about me is that I have three brothers, two older and one younger and I have three sisters also.

FRAZIES-Art

Art is a very unique subject, there are all kinds of art in the world from different cultures, different religions, different meanings to each and every piece of the art world. Its that moment in time when an artist adds the perfect touch to his or her art work, thats what makes the meaning of the art. Every artist has different meanings to every piece of art. What is your meaning?

This piece of art is probably one of the most famous paintings ever in the history of art. It is so simple but yet so complex at the same time, and what I mean by that is it tells a different story to everyone. Everyone has takes something different from it. The design is really unique and the painting also has very good texture. "The Starry Night" and "Starry Night Over the Rhone" are paintings by Dutch post-impressionist artist Vincent van Gogh. They are inspired by the night sky in Arles, France. The idea of painting at night intrigued Van Gogh. In letters to his brother, Theo, he described the importance to capture the sparkling colors of the night sky and the artificial lighting that was new to this time in history.
This is Da Vinci's "Mona Lisa" painting, it is so famous that it is worldwide. The Mona Lisa is known as the best known, most visited, most written about, most sung about, the most parodied work of art in the world. This painting is to be believed to had been started being painted around 1503 or 1504, this is also one of the oldest paintings in the world of this magnitude.

The Mona Lisa has survived for more than 500 years, and an international commission convened in 1952 noted that "the picture is in a remarkable state of preservation." This is partly due to the result of a variety of conservation treatments the painting has undergone. A detailed analysis in 1933 by Madame de Gironde revealed that earlier restorers had "acted with a great deal of restraint." Nevertheless, applications of varnis made to the painting had darkened even by the end of the 16th century, and an aggressive 1809 cleaning and revarnishing removed some of the uppermost portion of the paint layer, resulting in a washed-out appearance to the face of the figure. Despite the treatments, the Mona Lisa has been well cared for throughout its history, and although the panel's warping caused the curators "some worry", the 2004–05 conservation team was optimistic about the future of the work.

FRAZIES=Kony 2012 & More

***What is Kony 2012 really? It is all about peace and safety and how people are going to stop the violence. How will normal people like you and me stop all the violence and bring peace to Uganda, to Africa. Well I will tell you how it all started with one person, just one man and "an idea" as he would say. Kony stands for Joseph Kony, a warlord of originally Uganda, Africa. He has done terrible things and somehow managed to get an army of young kids to work in his army, though he forces this on the innocent children. In some cases Kony has made young kids of ages any where from nine or ten years old or older to kill their own families. There has been murder, rape, and abduction of thousands and thousands of kids going on for years, though no one has made this come to light in the United States not until that long ago. Kony has become so big over several major cities across the globe their are supporters, volunteers, flyers, and a lot of merchandise for this. This Kony project is supposed to ended by the end of this year, it is about human rights. The right that children should not be abducted into slavery basically and should be safe at home with their famalies. No one should have the power to take away a human beings rights, not the rights Kony is taking away from all these young children and people.
***In other news I found something on google news about "pink slime" processed beef which consists grounded up cow intestine, connective tissue, and other parts that are not used in traditional beef cuts are being used in school lunches. Basically the beef meat that Hardee's, McDonald's, and other fast food restaurants use are more nutritional than this slime (grounded up beef product) kids will get for school lunch. Which is really gross in my mind. Food at school has always tasted and looked odd to me, thats why I don't like to eat it unless I have to. Now I'm not saying all food at school is like this I am just talking about the beef product some public schools will be using. Fast food places are already not the best for you on a daily basis, now why would you want your child eating something possibly worse than fast food meat for lunch on a regular basis. I don't see how some schools get away with feeding children some things, though not all school food is bad but some of it is. Also another thing I don't understand is why you buy milk at the store and it tastes like normal milk but when you drink some school milk it tastes as if it has been watered down, it does not really taste like the real deal. How to fix these issues? I don't know but its hard to pass some things up sometimes, things that are out of the ordinary.

FRAZIES-Cars

There is a huge variety of cars in todays world available to the ready buyer. Unlike in the older days when you only had a select few afordable cars available. Today the companies that make cars range any where from classic American made to foreign made or shipped cars. The American made cars are made from companies like Chevy, Ford, Chyrstler, Dodge, and many more. The foreign made cars are made from companies like Mitubishi, Toyota, and a few more. Cars can be very interesting to the right person, there are all kinds of new things being put on to them each year becoming more advanced. By the time I am in my thirty's or so who knows what kind of cars they will have.
This is a 1969 Ford Gran Torino GT, it was named after the city of Turin, Italy. It was meant to be an upscale version of the Ford Fairlane but, people seemed to like this car better that left the Fairlane in the dust at the time. There were several options for this car when you bought it such as the engine size, transmission, etc. The best engine that you could get in this car was a 429 cubic inch (7.0 liter) V8 engine which would make this car pretty fast and powerful. This car was usually a two door coupe with four speed manual transmission. This car would be worth around twenty three thousand dollars or more depending on the buyer and there are so many of these cars left because it was only made for a few years.
This is a 1969 Dodge Charger, it is one of my favorite cars and it is very rare to see or to have one. If you have one of these cars you are extremely lucky I would say. Its not every day you see one of these cars you may see a lot of camaro's or mustang's because they are probably the most common sports car around Paris,IL anyway.
DMC: DeLorean was once a futuristic sports car back in the eighty's, today is a rare wonder. Most people would look at this car and instantly relate it to the Back to the Future movie series. This car for being made in the eighty's was really unique. It has gull wing doors which are doors that go straight up when you open them and it also had a very  different car design. Overall this car was the car to have for a while but the downfall to this car it was not very affordable so it did not sell very well the DeLorean was not in production to much longer. But DMC still seems to be a great company with potential to make newer and better things because of this car.

FRAZIES-rAnDoM

Did you know it cost's more to climb Mount Everest than to get a really nice sports car? Well it does and I would have never thought that it would really cost that much other than the ticket to Nepal to climb the highest peak on Earth. It cost's so much because you would have to pay for insurance, tents, oxygen, waste removal fees and several other things also. You might have always heard of those people climbing Mount Everest by them selves and thought to your self that they are crazy; well they sure do have courage. Also it will cost up one hundred thousand dollars to climb the mountain solo or around thirty-five thousand dollars if you’re in a group of five people or so. Temperatures get to the extreme as someone climbs the mountain, losing oxygen as you go up higher. Layers of clothes are the key to keeping warm in these conditions. And if you don't have enough oxygen on you then you may have to go back down the peak or if a person would have too much oxygen going through the oxygen mask then it may cause you to faint. Even with all the safety equipment someone may carry with them on the way to the top of this peak, the pressure may be too much towards the top and you could suffer internal bleeding through your head to your brain. So as you can see from what I am telling you, if you like dancing with death this would be one of those things to do, but I would not suggest it to an average person
A woman from Waynesburg, PN has done one of the oddest things I have ever heard. She did not have any teeth at all and could not get dentures through welfare so first she steals a jacket from a witness of the robbery, which she later gives back because the zipper is broken, she robs a bank for money for dentures. Who in the world would do that? That is just weird. Lol Who would want to go to prison over a pair of chompers, and yes I just said chompers. LoL
Nepalese man seventy two years old: Dangi lives in a remote mountain village, Rhimkholi, about 250 miles (400 kilometers) west of Katmandu, with his youngest brother and his family. Because of his height, he has never worked outside the house, doing only household chores. Mohammed, who died in 1997, was 22.5 inches (57 centimeters) tall. Since Dangi's village is so remote, it was only recently that Dangi gained notice. This man is shorter than two feet tall; you could find a lot of little kids in kindergarten that would be taller than him. I wonder what made this man so short. I would imagine it’s some sort of genetic disorder or disease he was born with. I could not ever imagine living his life, never leaving your home; I would decently get some cabin fever.

FRAZIES-valentines day and more

A lot of people may dislike Valentines Day and that is sometimes understandable depending on what it is. And there are those other people who love Valentines Day all together. I am not too crazy about today but it does make me happy being able to make someone close to me very happy on this day. Although I always try to make her happy not just on one day of the year either. So I think Valentines Day can be a good day to celebrate but it can also be bad if some people abuse this day. Some people may not show how they really feel or treat someone close to them very nice except on this day which I feel is wrong. When you really are close to someone you should always try to treat them nicely or if it’s a girlfriend or boyfriend I feel people should always show kindness. And sometimes a gift or two here and there. No matter what I say on here there will always be those people who abuse holidays like Valentines Day.
Here is a brief description I have looked up on the origin of Valentine's Day. Lupercalia survived the initial rise of Christianity and but was outlawed—as it was deemed “un-Christian”--at the end of the 5th century, when Pope Gelasius declared February 14 St. Valentine's Day. It was not until much later, however, that the day became definitively associated with love. During the middle Ages, it was commonly believed in France and England that February 14 was the beginning of birds' mating season, which added to the idea that the middle of Valentine's Day should be a day for romance.

Valentine greetings were popular as far back as the Middle Ages, though written Valentine's didn't begin to appear until after 1400. The oldest known valentine still in existence today was a poem written in 1415 by Charles, Duke of Orleans, to his wife while he was imprisoned in the Tower of London following his capture at the Battle of Agincourt. (The greeting is now part of the manuscript collection of the British Library in London, England.) Several years later, it is believed that King Henry V hired a writer named John Lydgate to compose a valentine note to Catherine of Valois. (Valentine’s Day: a day of romance, History Channel, 2-2012)

So as you can see Valentine’s Day was not always around but has been for centuries. As for cupid, he is a symbol of love and determination, Valentine’s Day. He is of course not real, if he was that would be a little scary to me. Having a little man flying around shooting arrows at people to make them fall in love. So be careful what you wish for or who you really want because it may just become true, you never know what could happen. Overall I think Valentine’s Day is an okay holiday, I don’t think it should be a holiday. I think it should be a feeling of Valentine, that people share and feel everyday.

FRAZIES-animals

Animals are one of the best gifts of our world. They are sometimes really odd and unique in their own little way and sometimes very deadly to. I’m here to talk about some of the most unique animals there are out there today. Some are very deadly and some wouldn’t hurt a fly but the only reason why most animals are dangerous is because it’s their nature when they feel threatened. Today I am going to talk about just a few really amazing animals there are out there in the world.
First, I am going to talk about the box jellyfish. Also known as the wasp jellyfish, this salad-bowl sized jellyfish can have up to 60 tentacles as long as 15 feet. Each tentacle has enough toxins to kill 50 humans. They are found in Australia, the Philippines, and many other tropical areas. Since 1884 at least 5,567 deaths have been attributed to these creatures. This puts it as one of the most deadly animals in the world; I think it is absolutely crazy that one of its tentacles can kill up to fifty human beings. Though most people will not ever see this animal up close to get stung because it lives in the deep ocean. Why are jellyfish like a clear-ish color? I wonder that myself well jellyfish are ninety-five percent water and that’s why they have a transparent look to them. Although some jellyfish are dangerous they only live up to one year and therefore they must reproduce very quickly. Due to malaria carrying parasites transferred by the mosquito, it is responsible for the deaths of more than two million people per year. In addition, Mosquitos are estimated to transfer diseases to more than 70 million people per year. Even in countries such as the UK, New Zealand, and Japan, where the more temperate climate has reduced mosquito bites to mostly an annoyance, they still cause some deaths every year. I know this may be hard to believe but the mosquito is by long one of the deadliest living things on Earth because the fact they carry diseases and there so many of them. As for the mosquito it is very very annoying most people would agree lol. This shark is an exceptionally large shark found in coastal waters in all major oceans. It can reach lengths of up to 6 metres and can weigh up to 5 tons. The Great White Shark is the worlds largest known predatory fish. It is the only surviving species of its genus. In general these creatures do not attack humans, and (while there have been some fatalities) the majority of attacks on humans are believed to be test bites – the Great White Shark are known to test bite other objects in order to determine what they are. More people are killed each year in the US by dogs than Great White Sharks in the last 100 years. Most people fear the great white shark but it almost never even kills anyone unless it has a real urge to.
